Welcome back the Scirocco. Holding true to the hatchback, the 2009 Scirocco picks up some rounder curves.
The Scirocco is rumored to have a 3 engine lineup starting with the 1.4-liter four-cylinder turbocharged and supercharged base engine generating approx. 210hp. The second engine in the lineup will be a 2.0-liter four-cylinder and also turbocharged and is expected to produce around 240hp. The final engine which is expected to be a 3.6-liter V-6 is believed to make 280hp.

The new Scirocco is supposed to drive great. I hope that they can get that car to the US market…
